Born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Allison has nursed a passion for writing, world travel, and fantasy since a young age. Her content often focuses on environment, art, nonprofit work, and activism.

Through her love for the real world as well as the fantasy, she double-majored in sociology and English at Guilford College. 

 

Through various opportunities and nonprofits, Allison has spent time in Ecuador, Scotland, France, England, Japan, China, Nicaragua, the Galapagos Islands, and Belize.

Allison has worked for news-magazines, start-up companies, websites, agencies, blogs, and nonprofits through her writing and creative skills.
